Usher was shaken and stirred by Victoria Martini. The R&B singer was strolling up Lafayette St. in Soho Saturday when he spotted the German model-turned-singer outside Lair nightclub — and stopped cold. The snake-hipped heartthrob decided he just had to take a few photos with the bodacious blond, who was shooting a music video at the nightspot. Although the production featured a bevy of beauties, our source tells us that Usher only had eyes for the 5-feet-11 German dazzler. The source says Usher offered Martini some career advice before telling her, "I'll be seeing you soon I am sure." Usher's rep did not get back to us before deadline.

Usher Wraps up his Tour with fans saying "OMG".  The title of the tour "OMG" (Oh My God) comes from his hit single from Raymond vs. Raymond.  The single includes an appearance by will. i. am of the Black Peas.

Usher's OMG Tour is his attempt to raise his status from Concert Entertainer to Concert Icon.  "Easily Done" if you watched any parts of the tour.  Many of his fans will easily agree after viewing his tour performance.

“The overarching impression that I’d like to leave is that, you know, this guy is really stepping it up to a level where, you know, people can hopefully compare him to people like Michael Jackson, and great entertainers of the past,” Usher said.

Usher delivered a show that full of his catalogue of hits that included his latest releases from Raymond v. Raymond and Versus.

“I’ve put the time into creating an incredible show, but also I give it all,” he said. “I leave it on the stage. I give you the energy. I basically tear myself apart emotionally, energetically, you know, connecting with you and making sure that you enjoy this moment and leave saying ‘OMG, Oh My God.’”

For fans in the audience, they saw a fantastic performance that turned the shows into a spectacle.

“The look of the tour, it’s a little futuristic but, you know, enough to capture your attention,” Usher said. “Live performance has always been my thing. It’s my purpose to master and capture the moment every time I have you connected. For me, you know, I wanted to make sure that it was state of the art.”

If anything, the dancing in the tour was art in itself.  No one dances like Usher and his back-up dancers just added to his fantastic performances.

“Oh, man, dancing is definitely a part of the tour,” Usher said. “You can’t have me without that ingredient. I wanted to stick to some of the choreography that you’ve seen in the videos. And for the songs that never had a video, you know, introduce a new style, a new energy.

“Whenever there are segues, I’ll also use music to transition us from one thing to the next,” he said. “I wanted to make you feel as though you were watching a movie, watching a live movie experience. I’m like a superhero in this show and I do all of my own stunts.”

If you don't believe he is becoming the Superhero of R&B, just look at his 6 full length CD's and video of his past concert tours.  The man will blow you away and its no wonder he is considered one of musics most magnetic and spectacular live performers.

Usher began his career when he was still in his teens.  He was mentored by no less than the late Michael Jackson and groomed for stardom in every way.  Usher has enjoyed a steady rise in popularity since he arrived on the international scene with his 1994 self-titled CD, when he was just 16 years old.  Imagine that, 16.

Usher, though, would only say he considers both Here I Stand and Raymond v Raymond/Versus to be personal and honest statements.

“I think that every album that I make is intended to give you a different facet of my personality and also speak to what I feel, where I am, and what my interpretation of art is at that time,” he said. “For every album, there is a different experience, you know, one not being greater than the other, but it all being intertwined as an incredible story in time. When I stop, I hope to be able to look back at all of my albums put together and feel as though I’m looking at an autobiographical musical experience.

“Those specific songs will speak to you,” Usher said. “If you’re married, then ‘Here I Stand’ is going to speaking to you a bit more. If you’re out having a great time and partying, you know, and living the single life and enjoying the experience of being available, you’re going to love (the song) ‘OMG,’ you know, you’re going to love “Raymond v Raymond.’ So, you know, there’s a little bit of something for everybody.”

Now that he is still a young man of 32, Ushers ambitions are pushing him beyond his recording and touring career. He has hinted in recent interviews (including one last year in the New York Times) that his days as a touring live performer may be over by the time he hits his 40s.  Looking to the future, he is now part owner of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, and an actor who has appeared in movies such as She’s All That and Texas Rangers. He has his own line of fragrances.

Usher is also into developing the careers of young artists, especially the hugely popular teen pop/R&B sensation from Canada Justin Bieber, who’s signed to US Records, Ushers own record label.

Even though Usher stresses in interviews that he is not planning on leaving the concert stage anytime soon, he obviously is looking towards the future with his eye on having multiple pursuits.

“I’ll be able to still do that (perform live) until I’m 50,” Usher said, a statement that is sure to reassure his fans. “My point is, I would also choose to do other things, and other aspects of business that I’d like to be in, (things) I’d like to venture (in). You know, as I introduce talent, as I develop talent, I would never want to feel as though that’s my only option.

“So at 50, you know, I hope that all the business that I’ve built allow me to, you know, go and hit the stage at my discretion,” he said. “I want to be able to have the ability to do that, but I also want to be mindful of all the other things that I’ve done.”

Sean Kingston:
After receiving medical treatment for the severe injuries he’s suffered from his jet ski accident last Sunday, Sean Kingston has been stabilized.

According to Sean’s publicist Joseph Carozza, the singer’s condition has improved and he has been moved into the Intensive Care Unit of the Ryder Trauma Center where he was treated.

Carozza further said in his released statement that Sean’s family is thankful for the prayers and for the support of his friends and loyal fans.

Widely known for hit songs “Beautiful Girls” and “Fire Burning”, Sean, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, was earlier rushed to the hospital after his jet ski hit a bridge in Miami, Florida.

A report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission states "Anderson was operating PWC [personal watercraft] with a female passenger westbound along McArthur Cswy towards the Palm Ave Bridge. Anderson struck the bridge and was transported to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition".

Local authorities who looked into the accident also stated that "nothing at this point would indicate that alcohol played role."

After the accident, celebrity friends of the 21-year old singer showed their support to him by posting messages on their Twitter accounts.   Justin Bieber tweeted on Sunday, “Got my friend Sean Kingston in my prayers tonight".

Rihanna also expressed her concern by writing,   "A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well. Sean, we praying for u baby.”

Usher Terrence "Terry" Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978) who performs under the mononym Usher, known as The King of R&B, is an American recording artist, dancer, and actor. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way, which spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit, "Nice and Slow". His followup album 8701 (2001) produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits "U Remind Me" and "U Got It Bad". Both albums sold over 8 million copies worldwide, establishing Usher as one of the biggest selling R&B artists of the 1990s.  Usher was born in Dallas, Texas, the son of Jonetta Patton (née O'Neal) and Usher Raymond III. Usher spent the majority of his young life in Chattanooga: his father left the family when Usher was a year old. Usher grew up with his mother, then-stepfather, and half-brother, James Lackey, born in 1984. Directed by his mother, Usher joined the local church youth choir in Chattanooga, when he was nine years old; there, his grandmother discovered his ability to sing, although it was not until Usher joined a singing group that she considered he could sing professionally. In the belief that a bigger city would provide greater opportunities for showcasing his talent, Usher's family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where there was a more conducive environment for beginning singers. While in Atlanta, Usher attended North Springs High School. Usher's father died of a heart attack on January 21, 2008.  http://www.usher-usher.com
